Gooses

Gooses is a newborn log built by a parent, not a baby brand. One tap starts a feed or a nap, one tap logs a diaper, and every default is already the likely answer. There is no account to create and nothing is collected: your log stays on your iPhone, and in your own iCloud only if you choose. THOUGHT THROUGH FOR ONE HAND AT 3 A.M. • NURSING shows which side comes next and alternates on its own. Touch and hold to choose a side yourself. • PUMP logs both sides, until you start nursing. Then it narrows to the free side, so it only offers what you can actually do. • BOTTLE repeats your usual amount of the milk you used last. MEDICINE names the last dose and logs it again in one tap. • The buttons are ordered by reach: the one you use most sits under your thumb, and the rarest takes the far stretch. Diapers default to wet, with WET on the right for a right-hand hold, or on the left from Settings. • Times default to now. Correct one with a number pad instead of a wheel, and anything you delete can be undone. • Nursing and sleep timers run together, because nursing a sleeping baby is still one nap. BUILT FOR IOS 27 AND ALL OF YOUR IPHONE A running timer lives in the Dynamic Island, on the Lock Screen, in StandBy and in the Apple Watch Smart Stack, and ends right there without unlocking your phone. Interactive widgets, Control Center, the Action Button and Siri log the everyday things without opening the app. Name the baby and Siri says it back, so you hear where the entry went. A RECORD THAT TELLS THE TRUTH The top of Today answers the questions you actually ask: how long since the last feed, sleep, diaper and dose. Trends draws each day of the week as a strip and leads with the single biggest real change, with the numbers behind every observation. Records keeps your baby's personal bests, and a trip or a jet-lagged week can be left out of them. Your baby is compared only with themselves: no percentiles, schedules, predictions or advice. THE JOURNAL Growth readings, with a corrected age for babies born early. Doctor visits, where a photo of the after-visit summary becomes the note. Immunizations in your own words, firsts with room for the story, and a one-page summary to bring to the next checkup. APPLE INTELLIGENCE, ON YOUR IPHONE Missed a night? Type it, say it or photograph the daycare sheet, and Gooses turns it into entries you check before anything is saved. Ask Gooses answers questions about your log. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, both run on the device and nothing is uploaded. YOURS TO KEEP No account, no server of mine, no analytics, and no permission to your camera, microphone or photo library: a picture arrives only when you choose it. Export every entry as CSV whenever you like, or bring your history in from another tracker. Siri and Spotlight search and Shortcuts automation stay off until you turn them on. MADE FOR A HOUSEHOLD Twins and siblings each keep their own log in one household. Share it with a partner through iCloud: a timer one of you starts appears for the other, and every entry shows who logged it.
