About

A tap on the wrist the moment your hand heads for your mouth. Most snacking is not a decision. The hand moves first and you notice later, if at all. PavLove runs on the Apple Watch you already wear. During a session you start, it reads the motion of your wrist and taps you as the reach begins, while you can still put the food down. THE WATCH DOES THE NOTICING Open PavLove on your watch and tap Start before a meal or an evening in front of the TV. It reads wrist motion fifty times a second, looking for the arc of a hand travelling to a mouth. When it sees one, you feel a short, long, short buzz. That rhythm belongs to PavLove, so you will not mistake it for a message. A session stops itself after four hours, or sooner if the watch is clearly buzzing at something that is not eating. IT LEARNS YOUR WRIST Nobody eats quite like anyone else, and the first few days bring some false alarms. Turn on Training mode and each buzz asks whether you were eating. Tell it "Wasn't eating" or "Missed a bite" and the detector adjusts its thresholds to you. Everything it learns stays on the watch, and you can reset it from the watch's Settings. A CALORIE BUDGET THAT MOVES WITH YOUR DAY Set a daily target and PavLove stays silent while you have room. It reads the calories you log in any app that writes to Apple Health, adds back the energy your watch records as you move, and arms the watch when you reach ninety percent of what is left. Finish the day inside the budget and you get confetti. Quiet hours keep it from buzzing you in bed. WHAT THE PHONE SHOWS Today: how much room is left and whether the watch is armed. History: your streak, fourteen days of eating against the allowance you earned, and the hours of the day you reach for food most. Most people are surprised by their own evenings. BUILT CAREFULLY AROUND EATING Before any calorie feature turns on, PavLove asks five short screening questions. If the answers suggest a calorie target would not be good for you, the budget stays off and the app works in awareness mode only, with no counting and no targets. Calorie features are not offered under 18. You choose how firm the cue is, from a light tap to a strong buzz, and the app never punishes you for eating. ONE PURCHASE, NO SUBSCRIPTION Five free sessions, so you can feel it work at real meals. After that, a single purchase unlocks everything for good. PavLove has no server and no account, so there is nothing to charge rent for. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Detection, history and personal tuning all run on your devices. Nothing is uploaded. Health data is read only with your permission and only to work out your budget. There are no analytics and no third-party code. PavLove needs an iPhone and an Apple Watch running watchOS 10 or later. It is a habit-awareness aid, not a medical device or a weight-loss treatment, and it is not intended for anyone with, or recovering from, an eating disorder. If food or exercise feels distressing, please speak to a professional.Read more
