About

Canopydew is a commissioning bench for greenhouse climate: it documents measured climate changes around recorded interventions, with baseline and response windows that a grower can review. Temporal association does not establish that an intervention caused a change. Synchronized air-temperature traces from several sensor positions share one scrubbable chart, interventions are marked on the timeline, and the psychrometric arithmetic underneath (saturation vapor pressure, dew point, leaf VPD, daily light integral) follows the FAO equation basis, with methodology links readable inside the app. A session opens on a bundled synthetic example, the Ridge vent response check: 72 observations from three mapped sensors in a propagation house, with one ridge-vent intervention. Scrub the trace to compare positions, then set baseline, response, and recovery windows in the Evidence workspace; Canopydew computes measured temperature and humidity deltas, pairwise sensor disagreement over overlapping time buckets, and time-to-tolerance for the step response. Capture observations by hand, or import a logger CSV with column mapping, units, and timezone; every import is receipted with its SHA-256 digest and a per-row list of anything rejected. Findings accumulate in a revision trail, and the record exports as a packet of PDF, CSV, and JSON. Canopydew suits growers commissioning a new house, consultants verifying vent and screen behavior, and students learning greenhouse physics. Results are informational documentation, not a safety or control system. Every record lives in the app's private on-device container and leaves only through the share sheet or picker you choose; there is nothing to sign into, no advertising, and no analytics, and the app works without any connection at all.Read more
