Holding Space

Holding Space is somewhere quiet to land. When things feel heavy, it can help to say them out loud – without being judged, rushed or fixed. Holding Space gives you a calm place to do that, and a few simple breathing practices to help you settle. TALK WITH CARA Cara is an AI companion who listens. Type or speak whatever is on your mind, and Cara will reflect it back gently, ask the occasional question, and sometimes offer a small thought to take with you. There are no wrong words here. BREATHE Five short guided breathing practices to help steady your nervous system: Box Breathing, 5-7-8, Downshift, Natural Breath and Balanced Breathing. Each comes with a simple explanation of when it helps, plus tips on which one to try. DESIGNED TO BE GENTLE - A calm, uncluttered design, with a soft dark mode for evenings - Speak instead of type, if that's easier - Your conversations are used only to generate Cara's replies – never to train AI models, and never sold NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL HELP Holding Space is a place to reflect, not therapy or medical care. If you mention thoughts of harming yourself, Cara will gently point you towards people who can help, with helpline numbers for the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
