My Funding Whizz helps UK registered childminders and parents complete Early Years funding declarations together — without chasing paper forms. Spend less time on paperwork. More time with the children. WHO THIS APP IS FOR • Registered childminders and small childcare providers in the United Kingdom • Parents and guardians invited by their childminder to complete a parental declaration • You must be 18 or over to create an account This is a technology tool. We are not a Local Authority, government agency or tax adviser. The app does not guarantee funding approval, payment amounts or compliance outcomes. You remain responsible for accurate information and for submitting documents in the way your Local Authority requires. HOW TO GET STARTED — CHILDMINDERS 1. Create your childminder account and verify your email. 2. Add your hourly funding rates by age band (Rates tab). 3. Add a parent, then add the child they are linked to (Contract tab). 4. Purchase a declaration credit when you are ready to start a form (Credits tab). Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. 5. Start the declaration, complete your provider sections (funded hours, term weeks, documents seen), then send it to the parent. 6. The parent completes their sections in the app and signs. You then review, approve and generate the PDF. 7. Keep or export the PDF and follow your Local Authority’s submission process. A short in-app checklist walks you through this the first time. HOW TO GET STARTED — PARENTS AND GUARDIANS 1. Wait for an invitation from your childminder (email or in-app link). 2. Create your parent account, or sign in if you already have one. 3. Open the declaration for your child. 4. Complete each step in order — child details, eligibility (Working Parents, FEET or Universal, including codes and National Insurance where needed), stretch weeks and other providers, this term’s intention, EYPP, Disability Access Fund (DAF) where relevant, then your signature. 5. Submit back to your childminder for approval. You will be notified when status changes. WHAT YOU CAN DO IN THE APP • Create and manage childminder or parent accounts • Store parent, child and family details needed for funding declarations • Set age-band hourly rates and see estimated termly and monthly Local Authority payments • Choose term-time or stretched funding where applicable • Complete declarations step by step, save drafts, and continue next term • Invite parents securely to complete their sections • Capture electronic signatures • Preview and generate declaration PDFs • Buy and use credits for declaration features (childminders) • Receive service notifications about invitations and declaration status (optional; you can turn these off in device settings) WHAT WE DO NOT DO • We do not submit your form to your Local Authority for you unless we clearly say so in the app • We do not replace your professional judgement or statutory obligations • We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising PRIVACY AND SUPPORT Your information is used only to run the service.
