Respite: Screen Time Control

Respite helps you scroll less without white-knuckling it. Pick the apps that pull you in, set limits that feel doable, and let Biscuit the fox step in with a gentle pause before the scroll takes over. WHAT RESPITE DOES • A pause when you open an app Open a tracked app and Respite covers it with a short, friendly check-in. Leave, or continue after a moment. It's enough of a beat to ask whether you really meant to open it. • Three ways to pause Pause every time, let Smart timing space check-ins to suit you after a few quick questions, or set a time budget before you start. • Daily limits that feel doable Set a limit for each app with one dial. A rare slip of a few minutes won't break your streak, and Respite never scolds you for going over. • App lock when today's time is up Turn on the lock and Respite covers an app once you've used today's time. Your time refreshes at midnight. • Stats that make sense Today, this week and this month at a glance: day by day, app by app, when you use them, and the time you won back. • Streaks, badges and a wellbeing score Keep a streak for each app, earn badges, and let Biscuit cheer you on. Miss a day and a comeback gets your momentum going again. • Home Screen widget See today's progress without opening the app. • Optional backup Sign in with Apple to keep your streaks and history when you reset or replace your iPhone. PRIVACY Respite uses Apple's Screen Time framework, which keeps the apps you pick private, even from Respite. App names never leave your iPhone, and your history stays on your device unless you turn on backup. No ads, and Respite never sells your data. Start with one app and one pause.
