■ Moving the World with Mathematical Formulas In the world of this book, formulas aren't about writing in answers. They're about the mechanisms that operate the devices. Place a gate at the point where a parabola intersects the ground and send light to a lighthouse. Determine how to divide the sides of a triangle and verify if the three lines intersect at a single point. Superimpose two waves and match their amplitude and phase. ■ Moving the World with Mathematical Formulas
In the world of this book, formulas aren't about writing in answers.
They're about the mechanisms that operate the devices.
Place a gate at the point where a parabola intersects the ground and send light to a lighthouse.
Determine how to divide the sides of a triangle and verify if the three lines intersect at a single point.
Superimpose two waves and match their amplitude and phase.
You don't choose the correct answer from multiple-choice options. Move the knobs, enter values, and
press "Observe" to see where the light reaches and which conditions are violated.
Predict, observe, and rearrange. There's no limit to the number of attempts.
■ 51 Units, 153 Pages
51 units covering Math I, A, II, B, C, and III, with 3 pages each for introduction, application, and challenge.
20 types of devices: Zero point gate, rod of square root length, branch of probability to open and count,
