Verpixeln: Cover Faces

Photos from nursery, the car in a classifieds ad, a screenshot from the family chat: Verpixeln covers faces before the picture leaves your phone. The app finds the faces on its own, you tap the ones that should stay visible, done. Everything happens on your device. No upload, no account, no subscription. EVERYONE EXCEPT YOUR CHILD A group photo from the school party has twelve children in it. Tap your own and it stays visible while every other face is covered. Tapped the wrong one? Undo takes you back a step. YOU DECIDE WHAT GOES Move, resize or delete any suggested area. Add your own with a rectangle or a brush. Choose pixels, blur, a solid cover or a sticker. Up to 30 photos in one pass. The original stays untouched. LICENSE PLATES Verpixeln detects plates too. The model was trained on international plates and finds European ones less reliably than it finds faces. Anything it misses you can cover yourself in two gestures. BEFORE YOU SAVE The app walks you through checking every photo. The finished copy is written as JPEG or PNG, with location and other metadata stripped from the file. Then you save it to your gallery or send it through the system share dialog. IMPORTANT Automatic detection is an aid and can miss things. Always look at the whole picture and correct the covers by hand. Verpixeln does not guarantee complete or legally sufficient anonymisation. PRICE The first three photos save for free. After that a single one-time purchase unlocks saving and sharing for good, at the price Google Play shows you beforehand. No subscription, no ads, no sharing of your photos. Import, detection and editing run locally; only purchase and restore need a connection to Google Play.
