Drunk Buddy

Some messages can wait until tomorrow. Drunk Buddy helps you set rules before the evening and create distance between impulse and action. You start your time window yourself on your device. TIME WINDOW AND REACTION GAMES Set a start time, end time, and personal rules. During the time window, you can choose from five short reaction games. A successful game can end the mode early; it ends automatically at the set time. THOUGHTS PARK Write a draft in the app and park it locally until morning. Afterward, you can read, copy, or discard it. The app does not send messages automatically. Contacts from the system address book remain local references; system-wide filtering of SMS or messengers is not technically possible. OPTIONAL APP PAUSE With your explicit permission, Android can pause selected apps during the time window. This feature requires usage access, an overlay, and a visible notification. Emergency calls and important system functions remain accessible. Incoming messages and notifications from other apps are not reliably blocked. VOLUNTARY GROUP Create a short-lived group or join using a code. The group uses anonymous Firebase login. You can share messages and images, report content, and block members locally. You only share your rounded location after tapping it yourself; you can revoke this permission at any time. Groups expire after a maximum of 24 hours. YOUR DATA Time windows, rules, contact references, and parked drafts remain on your device. Only the voluntary group uses an online service. Drunk Buddy does not replace self-assessment, prevent driving, estimate blood alcohol levels, or make any statements about fitness to drive or health. The user remains solely responsible.
