About

Napoleon at quarterback. Dracula at corner. A $15 salary cap to fix the rest. Once Upon a Snap is an American football management game where legends, monsters and people from history play for your team. You don't call the plays. You build the roster, then watch sixteen games play out like a broadcast. HOW A SEASON WORKS You get dealt seven random walk-ons, one at every position. Could be Abraham Lincoln at quarterback. Could be a pirate. Then you spend your $15 cap. Every position has one player at each price, $5 down to $1, so you can't buy everybody good. Spend it where it counts. After week 8 there's a trade deadline. Take a trade, cut someone and sign a free agent, or both. Six teams make the playoffs. Miami, New York, LA and Seattle are stacked, and titles are rare. That's the point... a title here means something. THE ROSTER 109 characters, all from public domain stories and history. Thor, Beowulf, Elizabeth I, Sun Wukong, Blackbeard, Sherlock Holmes, Frankenstein's Monster and a lot more. Everybody you field goes into your binder, along with a running count of your playoff trips and titles. THE DAILY Once a day, everybody gets the same deal: the same walk-ons and the same prices. One shot each. Then you compare records. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO No account, nothing to sign into. Your seasons stay on your phone and the game plays offline. No energy timers, and nothing for sale that helps you win. It's free with ads. There's an ad between seasons, plus optional ones you can choose to watch for a redraw. A one-time $1.99 purchase turns off the ad between seasons, and that's the only thing for sale.Read more
