That One Time

You know the moment. Dinner with your parents, drinks with friends, and the conversation goes quiet. You've got good stories. You just can't think of one right then. That One Time is where you keep them. Write down the first line the moment one comes back to you. Next time it goes quiet, tap Give me one and it hands you a story of your own. It isn't a deck of questions from strangers. Everything in it is yours. HOW IT WORKS • Write one line. "The time Dad locked the keys in the running car" is enough. Add the rest later, or don't. • Give me one deals a single story. 3 for tonight deals three at once, for a dinner or a party. • Topics like Funny, Family and Work let you pull one that fits the room. • It keeps track of who's heard it, so you don't tell the same people the same story twice. • Add the point under a story, and it's there when you have to give a talk or a toast. NO STORIES YET? The Shoebox goes through your old photos one at a time. It tells you how long ago each one was and asks what happened. Write a line, then the next photo. The photo stays in your library; the app only remembers which one. There are 32 prompts to jog your memory too, like "The worst meal you ever ate." And if you already keep a list somewhere, paste it in and each line becomes a story. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, and nothing to unlock later. The app doesn't have permission to go online at all, so your stories stay on your phone unless you share one. Save a copy any time to move them to a new phone. SHARE ONE Turn a story into a picture and send it to the person who was there. You see it first, and you choose whether the photo and the details go with it. That One Time is made by Pettigrew Lab, a family-run studio.
