GDF Connect

GDF Connect is the field app for security guard agencies that use the GDF platform. Your agency creates your account; there is no public sign-up. You need an organization code and login from your agency to use it. FOR GUARDS • See your upcoming shifts and clock in and out at the site • Scan QR and NFC patrol checkpoints as you walk your tour • Write incident reports with photos, video and audio • Log notes, pass-downs, inspections, tasks and maintenance issues • Message your office and the clients of the sites you cover • Request time off and see your schedule • Start a body-worn camera stream when an incident calls for it FOR CLIENTS • See each of your properties and who is on site right now • Follow the officer's live position and patrol history on an aerial map • Read daily activity reports and incident reports for your sites • Watch body cam footage recorded at your property • Message the agency and the officers covering your sites EMPLOYEE MONITORING — PLEASE READ GDF Connect is an employee monitoring tool. While a guard is clocked in to a shift, the app records the guard's precise location continuously and shares it with the agency and with the client for that site. A persistent notification is shown for the whole time tracking is on, and tracking stops at clock-out. The app does not track anyone who is not clocked in and does not use background location permission. The body cam records video and audio only when the guard presses Start, and stops when they press Stop. A persistent notification is shown while it runs.
