Jigsaw Shelf turns your boxed puzzle collection into a living wooden shelf—not a spreadsheet, not a notes list. Open the app and you land fullscreen on stacked shelf rows of puzzle-box cards: spine title, piece-count badge, brand stripe, and a clear status chip (Sealed, In progress, Finished, or Lent). Built offline-first for home puzzlers who curate one named shelf at a time. Every box holds the details that matter on a real shelf: title, brand, piece count, series or image name, purchase or gift note, started and finished dates, missing-piece tally with a short note, star rating, and lent-to state. Track the full build lifecycle. Mark a puzzle Started or Finished and watch shelf chips and sort order update live. Log missing pieces with an integer tally and a quick note (for example, sky edge #214). After you finish, rate 1–5 stars—small pips appear right on the shelf card. When you lend a box, record borrower name, loan date, and a due or reminder note; flip Returned and the box comes home on the shelf. Stay in the shelf metaphor while you work. Filter and sort by status, piece-count band, brand, rating, or recently finished without jumping to a separate screen. A collection stats strip shows total boxes, total pieces owned, finished count, completion percentage, and how many are currently lent. First launch is never empty chrome: a seed demo shelf of classic sample puzzles (500- and 1000-piece style boxes) so you see the full shelf immediately. Local preferences cover default sort, compact vs roomy shelf density, and date format. All of your data stays on-device in Room—no account required for day-to-day tracking.
