About

Kiyoshi Finance is a personal finance app that works entirely on your device. No registration, no cloud password, no server: your data doesn't leave your phone because there's nowhere for it to go. HOW MUCH OF YOUR NEXT FEW MONTHS HAVE YOU ALREADY SPENT? An installment is money you've already committed, even if it hasn't yet left your account. The future commitment graph shows the next 12 months with installments, fixed bills, and other expenses due each month, compared to your average income. It's the question almost no one can answer off the top of their head. WHAT CAN YOU REALLY SPEND? The large number on the home screen isn't your account balance. It's the balance minus everything already committed until the end of the period—bills to pay, credit card bills, installments, and recurring payments. Tap to see the account breakdown, item by item. CREDIT CARD WITHOUT SURPRISES Billing information is generated based on the closing and due dates of each card, committed and available credit limits, the best day to buy, and installment payments that fall on the correct bill — even in annoying cases, such as purchases made on the closing date itself or closing on February 31st. Bill payments are entered as transfers, never as new expenses. Without this, the same expense would be counted twice, and the monthly report would be useless. ENTERING MUST BE QUICK Account and category information is pre-filled based on the last use, and the numeric keypad opens automatically. A manual entry app becomes useless when noting down a coffee becomes too much work. BUDGETS AND FIXED BILLS Limits per category, with warnings at 50%, 80%, and 100%. Fixed bills and subscriptions are automatically repeated and included in the forecast for the coming months — and you can change the amount for a specific month, because electricity bills vary. YOUR DATA IS YOURS • The database is encrypted on the device (SQLCipher, 256-bit key stored in the Android Keystore) • Lock by PIN and fingerprint or face, with lock when exiting the application • Mode to hide values for public use • The application does not request internet permission. This can be verified in the permissions list on this page. BACKUP YOU CONTROL Export a file with your data and save it wherever you want. Restore when you change devices. No automatic backup to a third-party cloud, because there is no cloud. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO YET • Doesn't connect to the bank or import statements automatically • Doesn't synchronize between devices and doesn't have a web version • Doesn't have shared family control • Doesn't track investment quotes If what you're looking for is to synchronize bank accounts yourself, this isn't the app. It's for those who want to see their own numbers clearly and keep their data in their own pocket. Light or dark, whichever you prefer.Read more
