About
SoftPOS (Software Point of Sale) is a technology which enables merchants to convert mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets into fully operable card terminals without any additional hardware. This technology uses the NFC capability (Near Field Communication) of devices to process contactless card payments. This makes it exceptionally flexible and user-friendly. The main features of SoftPOS: • Cost efficiency: The costs for merchants are significantly lower because they do not need a mobile card-reading device. • Mobility and flexibility: With this technology merchants can accept payments wherever they may be. This makes it ideal for a mobile salesforce, pop-up stores or events. • Security: SoftPOS solutions use strong encryption and security protocol to protect payment data and prevent fraud. • Easy implementation: The software can be easily and quickly installed, so that merchants can start accepting payments after concluding an acceptance contract with UniCredit Bank Austria AG. • Broad support: The software supports a broad array of payment methods including credit cards, debit cards and digital wallets, thereby offering customers greater flexibility when selecting their preferred payment method. SoftPOS revolutionizes payment settlement procedures by lowering the barrier for using digital payments while increasing user-friendliness.Read more
