About
A passport photo of a one-year-old usually means a studio, a trip across town, and a stranger trying to make a baby look at a lens. TotShot replaces the trip: you hold your child, your phone takes the picture, our servers finish it to the requirements the issuing authority publishes. TotShot is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by any government agency or passport office, and we do not decide whether your document is accepted. Every requirement we apply is read from the authority's own page — see OFFICIAL SOURCES below. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick the country and the document. The app loads that authority's requirements and sets the camera up for them. 2. Hold the frame. Attention cues from the phone — a chime, a bell, a melody, a peekaboo, never the same one twice — catch the glance; six checks run live (face, framing, light level, light evenness, head pose, eyes) and the shutter fires itself when all turn green. A manual shutter is always there. Up to five shots. 3. Get a print-ready file: lighting corrected, background replaced, cropped to the spec — to print or to upload. WHAT THE CHECK IS, AND WHAT IT IS NOT Every frame is measured before you pay: head height, eye line, head pose, sharpness, exposure, background, eyes open. You see the numbers and pay only when you unlock a finished photo. A failed frame costs nothing. We apply the requirements an authority publishes, in its own words, and say which kind of rule you are standing on: written down, not written down, or left to the official at the counter. Requirements change and our copy can lag. Final acceptance is always the authority's decision — TotShot does not guarantee that any office will accept any photo. MADE FOR BABIES, NOT FOR SMALL ADULTS The rules differ at three months and at six years. TotShot resolves yours from your child's age: some authorities accept a closed-eye photo for an infant, most require open eyes from the first birthday, and the permitted head size differs for the young. No face is generated, swapped or reshaped. A passport photo of a one-year-old usually means a studio, a trip across town, and a stranger trying to make a baby look at a lens. TotShot replaces the trip: you hold your child, your phone takes the picture, our servers finish it to the requirements the issuing authority publishes.

HOW IT WORKS
WHAT THE CHECK IS, AND WHAT IT IS NOT
