About

DATUM LAB brings your measurements into a focused data analysis workspace on iPhone. Import a dataset, clean it, calculate new values, build charts, fit curves, and export your findings. Core analysis works offline, with no account required. BRING YOUR DATA Import CSV, TSV, or JSON through Files, including files stored in iCloud Drive. Paste from the clipboard or enter a table manually. Search and sort rows, filter values, and manage column names, visibility, and units. Explore five included sample datasets to get started. CLEAN AND TRANSFORM Remove duplicate rows and fill missing values using previous values, next values, means, or linear interpolation. Detect outliers with Z-score, IQR, or MAD, then keep, remove, or mark them. Create derived columns with formulas such as Voltage * Current, convert compatible units into new columns, and retain your original imported data. SEE THE PATTERNS Create line, scatter, bar, area, histogram, box plot, heatmap, and XY charts. Plot multiple series with shared, normalized, or dual Y scales. Inspect nearby points, zoom and pan, and select a region to view its statistics or create a separate dataset for further analysis. Choose from four chart themes. ANALYZE YOUR MEASUREMENTS Explore 16 summary statistics, including mean, median, range, sample standard deviation, variance, RMS, percentiles, and quartiles. Calculate Pearson correlation and compare datasets with matching columns and units. Set a baseline to inspect changes between tests. FIT CURVES Use linear, quadratic, cubic, exponential, logarithmic, or power regression. View the fitted equation, coefficients, and R-squared, overlay the fit on your data, and generate a fitted column. EXPLORE SIGNALS Apply moving averages, smoothing, detrending, normalization, standardization, resampling, differences, cumulative sums, and rates of change. Find peaks using threshold, minimum distance, and prominence settings. Analyze uniformly sampled time data with a Hann-windowed FFT, amplitude scales, dominant frequency, and harmonic bins. BUILD YOUR ANALYSIS SHEET Arrange live charts, statistics, regression, FFT, tables, notes, and results in the Lab workspace. Start with motor, thermal, pressure, battery, or vibration templates, or save your own reusable template. Use a two-column canvas on iPad. EXPORT YOUR FINDINGS Export original or processed CSV, complete datasets as JSON, charts as PNG, and analysis sheets as PDF. Save or share files using the native share sheet. Review processing history and restore the original import when needed. READY FOR THE FIELD Keep your datasets on your device and work without a server connection. Use Files to manage your documents, with optional library folder linking in Library settings. Electrical, mechanical, thermal, geometry, and unit conversion tools are also available in the toolbox. Built for engineers, technicians, students, researchers, test teams, and makers working with sensor readings, equipment tests, experiments, and measurement tables.Read more
