Kavaná

Your siddur, prayer times and Jewish calendar, together. Kavaná brings Jewish prayer and daily Jewish life to your iPhone in a calm, readable space. READ YOUR SIDDUR Weekday and Shabbat services in Hebrew, Edot HaMizrach. Open Shacharit, Mincha, Arvit or individual blessings. Hebrew appears on its own by default; turn on the English translation when you want it and adjust the text size. Bundled prayer text works offline. TIMES FOR YOUR CITY See local prayer times, candle lighting and Havdalah. Search for your city or choose to allow location access. Set your community's candle-lighting offset and Havdalah custom in Settings. KEEP THE JEWISH CALENDAR CLOSE Find holidays, the weekly reading and the dates that matter to you. Save Hebrew birthdays and yahrzeits with yearly reminders in your calendar view. MAKE ROOM FOR PRAYER Prayer Mode uses Apple's Screen Time controls to pause the apps you choose during prayer windows or at saved prayer places. Screen Time and location access are optional. Background place blocking can require Always location access. LEARN WITH RAV Rav is an optional AI learning companion connected to the Kavaná server. Before sending a question, you choose whether to share it with the disclosed AI providers. Answers can be wrong; consult your own rabbi for practical halachah. No Kavaná account is required. Calendar updates, maps and online features need an internet connection. Prayer text: Sefaria, Siddur Edot HaMizrach (public domain).
