About

Tea Harvest Journal helps small tea gardens keep a living record of each season — from the first swell of buds to the cup you taste months later. TEA FIELDS Name each plot and keep the details that actually change how you pick: variety, cultivar, plant age, slope and soil notes, and photos from the terrace. GROWTH SEASONS Write the tea year in order: Dormant → New Bud Growth → First Harvest → Summer Growth → Autumn Harvest Add weather, leaf condition, and observations such as “Buds swelling after a week of drizzle” or “Upper leaves scorched after ten dry days.” HARVEST BATCHES Every pluck becomes a named batch, tied to a field, leaf standard, weather, quantity, and picking notes. Spring Harvest from North Garden is not the same story as the autumn flush on Stone Terrace. PROCESSING Record how that batch was made — green, black, oolong, or white — through withering, rolling, oxidation, and drying. Keep duration, temperature notes, and craft observations for each step. QUALITY ARCHIVE Taste the finished tea and connect it back: field → harvest → processing → cup. Note aroma, taste, liquor color, and what you would change next season. Open the sample garden on first launch to see a full year already filled in, then start your own records when you are ready.Read more
