About

Avanto is a logbook for ice swimming. Log a swim in a few taps: water temperature, how long you were in, how many dips, and whether there was a sauna. Pick the spot and the air temperature, wind and conditions fill themselves in. Water temperature is the one number no weather service publishes, so it is the one you set — a large stepper you can work with cold, wet hands, never a keyboard. Every new entry starts from the last reading at that spot, so after the first swim the form usually needs a tap or two. See what a season adds up to: current and longest streak, coldest water, longest swim, total dips, and a chart of water against air temperature across the winter. Already been swimming for years? Add those swims too. A date is enough — anything you cannot remember stays empty rather than being guessed at, and your streaks and records take them into account straight away. - Works the whole year, not just on ice — from a 20 °C lake in July to below zero in February - Add swims from before you installed it, with only the date if that is all you know - Named swimming spots, matched automatically when you arrive - Weather filled in even if you were offline at the hole; it catches up later - Streaks with a gap you choose, because nobody swims every single day - Syncs through your own iCloud, private to you - Export everything as CSV or JSON whenever you like - Finnish and English No account to create. No advertising. No tracking. Your log is yours — it lives on your phone and in your own iCloud, and nobody else can read it. Avanto records what happened. It does not give advice about cold water.Read more
