A closed night can be reopened. THE LINE Stand the roster on the rail. One person with two pins — floor and bar — is two lines on the slip. Weight the night by hours, by sales, or by a mix of both, and move people when the section changes. THE WEEK Walk seven nights on one tape. Compare stations, open a short night, and attach a reason when the house came in under the line you set. Carried chits stay on the week instead of disappearing into the next pot. LAST LIGHT After close, dim the lamps and route the last chits to floor, bar, kitchen, or the tray. Scores stay on the device. Nights unlock as the house is actually closed.
