Boungwaull

Lamp lit, desk cluttered with torn paper, the survey office opens for another day of mapmaking. Morning: sit at the Chart Splice bench. Pinch a torn scrap and twist it under the round lens until its edges sit true, then press Splice to seal it in. Clear all scraps on a sheet before the lamp burns down, across sixty sheets in all. Midday: move to Ink Levels. Hold the nib to charge it, then release to pour into a contour basin, landing the fill inside its numbered band, not over or under it. Seventy-five benches wait, each tighter than the last. Evening: check Records for sheets cleared, stars earned, and badges collected out of fourteen, all in one place. For anyone who would rather skip the lamp timer, a one-time Steady Hand Licence opens relaxed, untimed play on every sheet and bench. It stays optional and is never required to finish either game. What a day at the desk covers: Two mapmaking games, Chart Splice and Ink Levels Sixty torn-scrap sheets and seventy-five ink benches A pinch-and-splice mechanic and a charge-and-pour one Fourteen badges and a shared Records page One optional, one-time unlock, no subscription
