About

Already running 5K? It's time to double it. RunStart 10K takes you from a comfortable 5K base to a full 10K finish in 8 structured weeks. Three workouts per week, each carefully designed to push your distance and endurance without overdoing it. HOW IT WORKS The Bridge to 10K plan builds on what you already know. Early weeks reinforce your 5K fitness with run/walk intervals, then each week extends your continuous running time toward the 10K goal. By the final week, you'll complete a continuous 60-minute run. YOUR 8-WEEK JOURNEY • Weeks 1–4: Run/walk intervals rebuild your 5K base and stretch it further, session by session • Weeks 5–7: Three distinct workouts each week — an easy run, a walk-break session, and a longer continuous run climbing from 35 to 45 minutes • Week 8: Race week — two easy taper runs, then a continuous 60-minute run for your 10K finish FEATURES • Audio coaching — spoken cues guide every workout so you can run without looking at your phone • Apple Watch companion — pace, time, and interval info on your wrist • GPS route tracking — every run mapped and saved to your history • HealthKit sync — workouts automatically saved to Apple Health • Home Screen widgets — your next workout always one glance away • Flexible scheduling — miss a day? Reschedule without losing your progress • Offline ready — no Wi-Fi or mobile data needed mid-run PROVEN STRUCTURE Structured progression prevents the most common mistake new runners make — doing too much too soon. Each week adds just enough challenge to drive improvement while giving your body time to adapt. You ran your first 5K. Now go twice as far.Read more
