DipDose: Pool & Hot Tub Test

Dip a strip, take one photo, and DipDose tells you exactly what to add — using the chemicals already in your shed. WORKS WITH YOUR STRIPS • Reads the common 4-way and 6-way pool test strips and hot tub bromine strips • Another kind of strip? Set it up once: the app finds the rows of colors, you say what each one tests • Each pad is compared with the color chart printed on your own bottle, in the same photo and the same light • Prefer drops? Type your drop-kit results for the most precise answer EXACT DOSES FROM WHAT YOU OWN • Tell it once what you have: liquid chlorine, bleach, cal-hypo, dichlor, muriatic acid, pH Up, pH Down, baking soda, calcium, stabilizer, salt • Get numbered steps in a safe order, like "Add 38 fl oz of your liquid chlorine 10%" • Big doses are split ("add half, then test again in 4 hours"), with the wait between chemicals • pH worked out properly, taking your alkalinity and stabilizer into account • Small liquid doses also in teaspoons and tablespoons POOLS AND HOT TUBS • Chlorine and salt pools, chlorine and bromine hot tubs • Targets for your water and your surface: plaster, vinyl, fiberglass or acrylic HISTORY AND REMINDERS • A chart for every reading, with the good range shaded • A log of every chemical you added • Reminders for test days, cleaning the filter and checking the salt cell (Pro) FREE CALCULATORS • Salt, chlorine, shock, pH, alkalinity, calcium, stabilizer, pool volume and hot tub chemicals PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account and no ads • Strip photos are read on your phone and never uploaded • Your pool's details stay on your phone FREE AND PRO Free: typed and drop-kit tests with exact doses, 3 strip scans, 7 days of history and every calculator. Pro: unlimited strip scans, your whole history and reminders. Pro costs $3.99 a month, or $19.99 a year with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase (for the yearly plan, when the free trial ends).
