Remora Ride

You play a remora, a small fish with a suction disc on its head. You can't swim far on your own, so you hitch rides on bigger animals and sink 1,000 meters to the ocean floor. HOW TO PLAY: Drag anywhere on the screen to aim. A dotted line shows your jump, and the last dot turns green when you will land on a host. Let go to dash. Touch the back or belly of a turtle, manta, shark, whale or sunfish and you stick to it. Hosts get tired of you. When one starts to shake, jump before it throws you off. Your stamina drains in open water, so tap the screen to swim a short stroke toward the next ride. FIVE ZONES: Lagoon, Reef, Open Ocean, Twilight Zone and the Abyss. Each zone gets darker and brings new trouble: jellyfish sting, currents push you sideways, ghost nets slow you down, and barracudas and anglerfish try to eat you. Ride a shark and barracudas keep their distance. Catch a whale and it carries you up to 100 meters down in one dive. UPGRADES: Your hosts drop scraps while you ride. Grab loose scraps and rare pearls too. Chain quick jumps for a combo of up to x3. Spend scraps on five upgrades: Sucker, Fins, Gills, Nose and Scales. Scales give you a shield that stops one bite.
