Pokeen Pulse is the precision companion for water drop macro photographers. Whether you are chasing a perfect crown, hunting a jet form, or dialing in that elusive mushroom cap, Pokeen Pulse replaces scattered spreadsheets and handwritten logs with a real-time physics engine, a structured shot diary, and a built-in splash-form atlas — all in one dark, focused workspace. Set up your rig in The Bench: choose your nozzle height, tip type, and reservoir fluid, then compose your pulse schedule with a visual drag strip. The built-in drop engine computes free-fall time, impact speed, drop diameter via Tate's law, Weber number, and Ohnesorge number live as you scrub — and proposes the timing recipe the physics predict for your chosen target form. Eight reference forms are supported: Crown, Jet, Umbrella, Mushroom, Stacked Cap, Bubble Dome, Rebound Bead, and Coronet Spray, each with its own Weber range, drop count, recommended fluids, and fault diagnostics. Track every shot in a structured sweep log. Grade each result, flag keepers, tag faults, and attach a photo of your camera's rear LCD. Pin the water line, nozzle tip, and a feature point on the image and Pokeen Pulse calculates the column height from the known rig geometry. The sweep chart plots flash delay against grade; the heatmap cross-references D2 gap and flash delay so the optimal bracket becomes obvious. When you nail a keeper, export a styled shot ticket — a perforated stub card with every schedule parameter — directly to your Photos library. The Atlas reference tab keeps expert knowledge at your fingertips: detailed entries for all eight forms, every supported nozzle tip, rig components, fluids, and a fault encyclopedia with cause-and-cure cards.
