Built on a physics-based pigment model grounded in real colour science, the app shows you precisely how paints blend — so your instincts at the easel grow sharper with every session. The eight-unit Course takes you from first drops to confident three-tube mixes across 64 hand-designed tasks. Each lesson gives you a target colour, a curated set of tubes, and a drop budget. Because drops cannot be undone — just like real paint — you learn to look before you pour. Earn up to three stars per task, unlock new units, and build genuine colour-mixing skill over time. When you are ready to plan a real mix, the Mix Planner does the science for you. Set a target by sliding through colour space, entering a hex code, or sampling directly from a photo. The planner searches your owned tube set and returns three recipes — closest match, fewest drops, fewest tubes — then scales any recipe to the jar volume you need. An interactive nudge tool lets you adjust by eye, one corrective drop at a time. Save your best recipes to the Swatch Book, attach a photo of the real painted result, and build a personal archive of formulas that work for your pigments.
