Two ice-plant jobs fill one zamboni bay, and neither clock stops for a breather. First intermission: Ridge Fuse. Slide the blade dial to line up a frost ridge, then shove it into the ridge beside it. Fusing two ridges of the same tier bumps them up a level — the board tells you which tier the rail wants before you clock out. Sixty-four boards run from a warm rail up through frozen posts, fresh frost and a ticking board clock on the night shift. Second intermission: Chip Toss. Glance at the spray reader, count the chips it throws, then flick that many shovel loads — short or long toss — into the sliding melt hopper before it seals. Spill past the limit and the round resets. Seventy-two rounds add pale chips, decoy ice, a turning hopper and double-flash reads. Third intermission: check the shift record. Boards cleared, stars earned, best tier built and biggest spray read all log under Totals, with badges alongside. Every board and the first four Chip Toss rounds run free.
