Yakli Krutem

Yakli Krutem is the dedicated workshop companion for marquetry artists and wood inlay enthusiasts. Whether you are just learning the craft or refining a complex design, Yakli Krutem gives you a complete digital workbench in your pocket. The Bench canvas lets you build marquetry layouts cell by cell, assigning wood species and grain direction to each piece. Choose from twelve built-in veneer species — Holly, Maple, Sycamore, Cherry, Padauk, Walnut, Zebrawood, and more — or create up to twenty-four custom veneer mixes with your own colours, grain figures, and craftsman notes. A live thumbnail of your active design stays visible at all times so you never lose sight of the bigger picture. Once your design is ready, generate a detailed Cutting Plan automatically. Track which pieces have been cut and how many remain, with a clear progress indicator keeping you on pace from first stroke to final assembly. Manage your veneer layers through the Leaves and Build-up tool, and store up to thirty complete designs in your personal library. Configure the app to match your workbench exactly: metric or imperial measurement, cell pitch, leaf dimensions, kerf width, veneer thickness, and substrate type. Haptic feedback and optional grid lines keep the experience tailored to your hands-on workflow. From first sketch to finished panel, Yakli Krutem keeps your marquetry projects organised, measurable, and beautifully under control.
