About
Rasterly checks image files before you send them to print. Import still images from Files, choose an output size, and see how much resolution and image area you have to work with. PRINT-SIZE CHECKS Choose 4 × 6, 5 × 7, 8 × 8, 8 × 10 inches, A4 or A3. Compare PPI when filling the print area with cropping against PPI when fitting the whole image with margins. See the retained image area and the full-image dimensions at your chosen 150, 240 or 300 PPI reference. ACTUAL FILE INFORMATION Inspect decoded format, oriented pixel dimensions, file size, color model, listed profile, embedded DPI, bit depth and alpha channel. Review low resolution, aspect-ratio differences, missing profiles and alpha channels in context. Embedded DPI cannot add image detail. A REPORT YOU CAN KEEP Import up to 20 files at once, keep up to 200 local working copies, search, rename and remove them. Save a PDF inspection report and CSV inventory, including source SHA-256 identifiers. Reopen and share saved reports later. Each report preserves the settings used when it was created; source images are not attached. iPhone offers an image library, inspector and reports. iPad keeps the library beside the working view. Start with your own files or explicitly try the included example images. Single-frame raster files only, up to 40 MB and 50 million pixels each. Rasterly does not edit images, convert color profiles, guarantee print quality or certify a vendor's requirements. Metadata availability depends on Apple's image framework. One purchase. No account, ads, subscription, analytics, tracking, cloud sync or developer-server upload. Imported working copies and reports stay on your device until you remove them or the app.Read more
