About
Namelane turns business card photographs into a private, searchable card index. Photograph a card or choose an image from Photos. On-device text recognition suggests a name, role, company, email, phone number, and website. Check each field against the original card, correct anything the scan missed, and save it as verified. Add where you met and a follow-up note so the contact has context later. Search your saved cards by name, company, role, email, or meeting place. Share one verified card as a vCard file, or export all verified cards as vCard or CSV files. Unverified scans stay in the index until you review them; bulk exports include verified cards only. Delete a card to remove its saved photo and details from the app. A sample business card lets you try the same on-device recognition flow before capturing your own. Namelane stores card photos and details on your device. It has no account, subscription, ads, analytics, tracking, or developer-server sync. OCR can make mistakes, so always review the information before sharing it. Recognition is optimized for English-language cards. Sharing a file uses the iOS share sheet and the destination you choose.Read more
