About

I built this for my daughter, Willa. She's always wanted a real say in where we go on vacation — not just picking between two options I'd already decided on, but actually researching a place and making the case for it herself. So I built her an app that lets her do exactly that. She types in a city she's curious about. The app tells her what's actually there — real neighborhoods, real restaurants, real things to do — and she picks what she wants, the same way you'd research a trip yourself. She can add places she already knows about too. Nothing goes into the plan unless she chose it. Then the app turns her picks into a real pitch: a day-by-day plan with her own opening argument for why the family should go. She sends us the link, and we get to see exactly what she'd choose and why. If your kid has ever begged to be part of planning a family trip instead of just hearing about it after the fact, this is built for that. It worked for my daughter — I hope it works for yours too. **What it does:** - Research a destination one category at a time — things to do, where to stay, where to eat, how to get there - Choose what makes the cut; add your own ideas alongside the app's suggestions - Get a finished day-by-day pitch, written in your kid's own voice - Share it with a link anyone in the family can open, no account needed to view - Rate pitches as a family and see them ranked on a scoreboard - Works for the whole family — everyone gets their own login, including kids, with no email required **A few things worth knowing:** - Trip research takes 15–30 seconds per category — it's genuinely generating fresh ideas each time, not pulling from a canned list - Destination info comes from AI, not a live travel database, so treat prices and hours as a starting point rather than a booking-ready fact - This is a small, independently built app — not a big travel company product, just a dad who wanted his kid to have a real voice in family tripsRead more
