About
Restore the stained glass of eight churches, from a hermit's cell in the woods to the greatest cathedral in the land. You have only three colours of glass: red, yellow and blue. Every window asks for more. Lay yellow over blue and it glows green; red over yellow makes orange; blue over red makes purple; all three together make the dark of lead. Each window has its cartoon, the glazier's drawing of the finished glass, and your panes must build it exactly. Drag a pane into place, turn it until it fits, and when a section and the lead around it match the cartoon, it fires with a flash of light. 132 hand-made windows. Every one is proven solvable before it ships. The puzzles grow with the buildings: square panes in the hermitage and the chapel, glass cut on the diagonal into diamonds, kites and arrowheads in the abbey and the basilica, and rose windows glazed in hexagons in the cathedral, the minster and the great cathedral. Walk through every church. Each one is built in 3D around its windows. Walk up the nave, look up at the glass you've mended, and watch the light pour through it onto the stone floor. The sunlight follows the real time of day. The ruined basilica rebuilds itself around you as you restore it. A pattern book of everything you restore. Each finished window earns its page, with its story: why a church has a yew in its yard, who the Five Sisters are, what the Tree of Jesse shows, and why the north rose tells the oldest stories. A new window every day, the same for everyone. Each day you restore lights a petal of the month's rose. Design your own window and send it to a friend to restore. The game cuts it into panes for you, checks it can be solved, and packs the whole window into a link. Gentle when you need it. A pane dropped where the window doesn't want it flies back to the tray. Undo is unlimited, and a hint is there when you're stuck. Finish a window without one and it earns its sparkle. No adverts, no timers, no lives, no energy. Glass textures are there for players who find colours hard to tell apart, and VoiceOver is supported. The hermitage, the chapel, the parish church, the daily windows and the designer are free. One payment opens the five great churches (the abbey, basilica, cathedral, minster and great cathedral) and their 102 windows.Read more
