About

Everyone shares one secret word. Everyone except one player. Impostor is a social deduction party game for a single phone: pass it around, let each player read their role in private, and start arguing. The civilians want to unmask the impostor. The impostor wants to survive without ever learning the word. HOW IT WORKS 1. Add everyone's name (3 to 24 players). 2. Pass the phone around: each player secretly sees their word — or finds out they are the impostor. 3. Take turns saying one word related to the secret one. Specific enough to prove you know it, vague enough not to hand it over. 4. Vote. The most suspicious player is eliminated and their role is revealed. 5. Civilians win by finding every impostor. Impostors win by surviving to the end. THREE GAME MODES • Classic — The impostor gets no word at all and knows exactly who they are. They have to improvise from whatever everyone else says. • Mysterious — The impostor gets a different but related word and has no idea they are the impostor. Everyone believes they are telling the truth, which makes the clues far harder to read. • Chaos — Classic rules plus two special roles: a Detective who gets one look at somebody's true role, and a Jester who wins alone by getting the group to vote them out. DRAWING MODE No talking. The group draws the secret word together on one shared canvas, one stroke per turn. It combines with any mode and changes the game completely. WHEN YOU ARE NOT IN THE SAME ROOM Create a private room, share the six-character code and play from your own phones. Not enough of you? Add computer-controlled players: they talk, suspect and vote like anyone else, so a game never depends on getting six people together at once. MATCHES YOUR WAY • 3 to 24 players, with one impostor or several. • Limited rounds or play to the finish. • Adjustable debate timer. • Optional hint for the impostor: enough to bluff, never enough to guess. • Round-by-round scoring and instant rematch. EIGHT WORD PACKS INCLUDED Everyday Life, Animals & Nature, Food & Drink, Objects, World & Places, Transport, Sports and School. Pick one or mix them all. Thousands of words, translated into fourteen languages. NO ADS, NO ACCOUNTS No ads, no sign-up and no personal data requested. Group matches run entirely offline on a single phone; only the online mode needs a connection. The app sends anonymous crash and usage reports so bugs get fixed, and you can turn them off in Settings. Perfect for dinners, road trips, classrooms, long lunches and any moment when someone puts a phone on the table and says "one more round".Read more
