About

Zapeza Fesen Grove turns the maddening guesswork of fitting hand-cut dovetail joints into clear, trackable data. Grade every socket from both faces, pinpoint the exact error mode behind each gap, and watch your craft improve session by session. Open the end-grain diagram for a corner and tap each socket to assign a four-point fit grade — Tight, Hairline, Open, or Gappy — from the tail face and the pin face independently. Every gap above zero gets classified under one of three root causes: saw line deviation, baseline error, or transposed waste. That discipline converts vague impressions into counts you can actually act on. The History tab keeps a reverse-date log of every corner you have cut, searchable by notes and filterable by species or angle ratio. Analysis draws a stacked histogram across board positions and an error-mode chart, so you can see at a glance whether the trouble lives in your sawing, your chopping, or your layout. Tap any position bar to drill into a full breakdown across every joint that shares that pin index. Six built-in layout presets cover the most common configurations from small boxes to blanket chests, and you can save custom presets for instant recall. A built-in reference covers all three error modes, six wood species, and angle ratios from 1:5 to 1:10. Everything runs entirely on your device — no account, no subscription, no network connection required.Read more
