Ambero is a fountain-pen ink mixing desk built for enthusiasts who blend their own inks. Pick a target colour, and Ambero's on-device solver uses a physically-grounded optical model to predict which inks from your library — at which ratios and dilutions — will come closest to your goal. Load up to three inks onto the Mixing Desk, set part ratios with pipette sliders, and add water with the dilution stepper. Ambero calculates the predicted colour using a Beer-Lambert subtractive-mix model — the same physics that governs real dye blending — rather than simple RGB averaging. A live swab shows your predicted result beside your target, with a CIE Delta-E distance score and a match grade from Twin through Distant. Explore the Swatch Matrix to visualise every ratio and dilution combination for any two inks at once. Browse and manage your Ink Library, including seeded reference inks and up to 60 inks you define yourself, then save successful recipes to your Journal and review them on a hue-spread polar chart. The Target screen's hue wheel plots your owned inks as colour-accurate dots so you can spot candidates at a glance before the solver runs. Every calculation runs entirely on-device.
