RareFootprints

Rare Footprints is a field companion for discovering wildlife, learning about threatened species, and recording the nature around you. Explore a curated species catalog with photographs, scientific names, protection status, habitat notes, distribution details, and conservation guidance. When you encounter an animal, create an observation with photos, a date, region, and field notes so the moment stays easy to revisit. Use on-device identification to get candidate species suggestions from a photo. Analysis is performed with Apple Vision, and identification photos are not uploaded. Results are intended as a helpful first pass—not professional verification—so always observe wildlife from a safe and respectful distance.
