Anka: Baby Tracker & Log

Anka keeps your baby's feeds, sleep and diaper changes in one place. Log what happened when you have a free hand, or fill it in later. I built Anka as a first-time mom who kept losing track. When was the last feed. Which side. Was that the second dirty diaper today or the third. At 4am I wanted a baby tracker that just knew. No scores. No streaks. FEEDING AND PUMPING Use the breastfeeding timer for each side and see which side was last. Log a bottle in ml or oz, as formula or breast milk. Donor milk is an option too. A bottle straight after a breastfeed can be linked as a top-up, so the day reads as one feed instead of two. Keep a pumping log for each side with the amount and minutes. Anka also keeps a count of your breast milk stash. SLEEP AND DIAPERS Run the sleep timer for a nap or night sleep. Log a wet or dirty diaper, or both. Missed an entry at 3am? Add it later and set the time yourself. You can edit or delete any log. Notes go on the log they belong to. TODAY AND HANDOVER Today shows the day's totals and a timeline. When someone takes over, the handover summary shows what is running now and the last feed, diaper and sleep. Pick totals for the last 6, 12 or 24 hours and share it as a message. Your notes are never in it. SHARING WITH YOUR PARTNER OR NANNY Invite someone with a six character code. Your partner sees all of the baby's records. A nanny or grandparent joins as a carer: they can log and see today, but not the history, growth records or private notes. The server enforces that split, not just the screen. Helping with a feed does not mean reading your notes. JOURNAL AND PATTERNS The Journal keeps every log. Pick a day, filter by feeds or sleep, or search your notes for the word you remember. Look back over 7 or 30 days. Patterns describes what you logged, like the usual bottle size or when naps start. It stays quiet until there is enough to describe. I want a record of your baby's day, not a verdict on it. GROWTH AND MOMENTS Weight, length and head circumference sit on the WHO Child Growth Standards curves, up to age 5. A first smile and a first word sit next to the 3am feeds. Anka is built for the first 12 months, and you can keep logging after that. JUST FOR YOU: CYCLE AND PREGNANCY This part is optional and it is yours. Log periods with flow and spotting. Add pain, mood and notes, then look back on a timeline or a calendar. An estimate of your next period comes as a date range from your own cycles, and you can turn it off. Bleeding in the weeks after birth is not counted as a period. There is no fertile window and no advice. For a pregnancy, Anka counts the weeks and days and shows the baby's size each week. The due date can come from a last period, a scan or an IVF transfer. Appointments keep the questions you want to ask. Your cycle and pregnancy records stay on your phone. They never go to my servers. Nobody you share the baby log with can see them, and they are not counted in analytics. Export and restore them with a file. OFFLINE AND BACKUP Core logging works offline with no account, which matters on hospital wifi. Backup and sharing are optional. If you turn on backup I still cannot read your records, unless you open a support window inside the app. It lasts seven days and shuts by itself. Anka counts how many people use it and which screens get opened. That never includes what you logged. No ads. Your data is not sold. Anka is free, with no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Export the baby's records to a readable file. Or delete everything inside the app, your account included. Use millilitres or ounces. Dark mode is there for the night feeds.
