Track earthquakes worldwide with QuakePulse, an earthquake tracker built around data from the United States Geological Survey (USGS), configurable alerts, interactive maps, nearby earthquake information and deeper seismic insights. See what happened, how strong it was, how deep it was and how far it is from you — all in a clean, modern experience designed for iPhone and iPad. LIVE GLOBAL EARTHQUAKE MAP Explore recent earthquakes around the world on an interactive map. Quickly understand magnitude, location, depth, time and distance. NEARBY EARTHQUAKES Use your current location to see earthquakes near you and understand how far away each event occurred. EARTHQUAKE ALERTS Monitor the places that matter to you. Save locations and configure alerts based on magnitude and distance. You can also enable significant-earthquake and tsunami-related notifications. When available, QuakePulse can also surface ShakeMap, PAGER, aftershock forecasts and other USGS products. ACTIVITY & ANALYTICS Understand recent seismic activity with clear charts, magnitude breakdowns, depth analysis, regional insights and trend information. HISTORIC EXPLORER Explore notable and historic earthquakes and search the USGS earthquake catalog back to 1900. QUAKE COMPARE Compare two earthquakes side by side to understand differences in magnitude, depth, location, impact and other available data. PREPAREDNESS CENTER Access practical earthquake preparedness guidance and maintain your own emergency checklist. SAVED LOCATIONS Keep important places such as home, family, work or travel destinations close at hand. WIDGETS Keep useful earthquake and saved-location information available from your Home Screen.
