Yaqin: Halal Food Finder

Yaqin helps Muslim travellers find halal food, and shows exactly why each place is listed as halal. Every place carries its halal status and the evidence behind it: • Certified: a halal certificate on file, with who issued it and when it expires • Muslim-owned • Says it is halal: the restaurant's own claim • Halal options: some dishes are halal • Seafood / vegetarian • Unverified: imported from OpenStreetMap and not yet checked by the community Pork-free places are not halal, so they stay hidden unless you ask for them. SEE WHO HAS CHECKED Travellers who ate at a place can confirm it. Yaqin shows how many confirmations a place has, how recent they are and a confidence level, so an old listing never looks as trustworthy as one confirmed last week. FIND FOOD FAST • A map and list of halal places around you, or wherever you are going • Filter by halal status, type of place, price and cuisine • See what is open now, in the restaurant's own time zone, even while you plan from home • Directions in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze, with the walking time for places nearby MADE FOR TRAVEL • Save a city before you fly and browse it offline, place pages included • Show staff a card that asks "Is this food halal?" in their language: Thai, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Malay, Indonesian, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi and more • Show a driver the name and address as they are written locally • Arrive in a new city and Yaqin offers its staff card and an offline download • Mosques and prayer rooms on the same map, one tap away BUILT BY THE COMMUNITY Add a missing place, correct details, or add a photo of a certificate or menu. Contributions from new members are checked by a moderator before they appear. Report anything wrong, block anyone you would rather not see, and know that every report is reviewed within 24 hours. Browsing never needs an account. To contribute, sign in with a code sent to your email. Yaqin shows what travellers report and what places say about themselves; it does not certify restaurants. When in doubt, ask the staff.
