The score keeper for the league bowler. Every ball pin by pin, or just the final score. Nights that belong to a league of any number of games. Your average, your handicap, and which pins you leave. THE SCOREBOARD - Tap New game and the ten frames are there, with the pins as you see them from the approach. - After each ball, tap the pins still standing, which is usually none or one, then press the big button: Strike, Spare or Next. A frame is one or two taps. - The marks read as a bowler reads them: X, /, the count, a dash for a miss, and a red ring where the first ball left a split. - The running score fills in as soon as it can be known, so a strike waits for its two bonus balls, as it does on the lane's screen. - The tenth frame follows the real rules: a strike or a spare earns the extra ball. - Miss and Undo are there for the gutter ball and the wrong tap. Every ball is kept the moment it is entered, so a phone call in the middle of a game loses nothing. Save closes a game part way and Carry on picks it up. QUICK SCORE - No time to score ball by ball? Quick score keeps the final score alone, in three taps. It counts in your average and the night's series. LEAGUES, KEPT SIMPLE - A league is a name, how many games a night, and the handicap rule: a share of the gap between your average and a base figure, such as 80% of 200. - Three games a night, four, or six: the app does not mind. - Tonight already belongs to the league that usually bowls on this weekday, so there is nothing to answer before the first ball. - Each league page shows your average there, your handicap, your high game and high series, and every night week by week with the series as it is and with the handicap on. A starting average from the league is used until you have bowled. STATS AND SPARES - Average, high game, high series and clean games, for everything, for each league, or for practice, with the last twenty games as bars. - Strikes, spares and open frames as percentages; splits, and how many were made. - The Spares page shows the deck shaded by how often each pin is left standing, and for each single pin how often you pick it up. Splits and the bigger leaves too, with the commonest named. SEND A SEASON AS A PDF - Send, on Stats and on every league page, makes a PDF of where you stand, every night, and your spares, on A4. It goes by Messages, Mail, WhatsApp, or to Files and Print. SAFE IF THE PHONE IS LOST An average is a season of nights. The app backs up automatically to your own iCloud, free for everyone, and offers your leagues and games back on a new phone. It is a backup, never a sync, and it never comes to us.
