About

Capitol Gains puts the paper trail of political and corporate money in your pocket. Members of Congress have to disclose their stock trades. Corporate officers file a Form 4 when they buy or sell their own company's shares. Corporate PACs have to report which politicians they write checks to. Roughly half of all US share volume changes hands away from the public exchanges. All of it is public record — and almost none of it is readable. Capitol Gains collects these disclosures, cleans them up, and makes them scannable in seconds on a phone. No account. No login. No ads. No tracking. Open it and the data is there. CONGRESSIONAL TRADING Browse stock transactions disclosed by members of Congress under the STOCK Act — who traded, which ticker, whether it was a purchase or a sale, the disclosed dollar range, and the lag between the trade date and the date it was actually reported. Drill into four views: • Politician Trades — search any representative or senator and see their full disclosed trading history • Trump Trades — filings connected to Donald Trump and affiliated entities • Congress — the combined feed across both chambers, newest first • Hill Signals — the tickers and sectors showing the most congressional activity right now AI BRIEFING A plain-English daily briefing that reads the week's filings and legislative activity for you: a headline, a few paragraphs of context, the bills drawing attention, and the tickers most affected — each one tappable straight through to its detail page. For when you want the story, not the spreadsheet. SUIT SIGNALS — SEC FORM 4 INSIDER FILINGS Corporate insider buying and selling, filtered to what actually carries a signal. Capitol Gains separates genuine open-market transactions (Form 4 codes P and S) from stock grants, awards, and option exercises. That distinction matters: most Form 4 rows are compensation, not conviction, and lumping them together makes routine paperwork look like a wave of insider buying. You see open-market activity on its own. PAC ATTACK — CORPORATE PAC DONATIONS Follow corporate political action committee money to its recipients. See which companies are funding which politicians, how much, and how that giving is split — useful context to read alongside the same company's insider filings. UNDER TABLE TRADES — OFF-EXCHANGE VOLUME FINRA-reported off-exchange and dark-pool volume, so you can see how much of a stock's activity is happening away from the lit exchanges, and which names are seeing unusual concentration. SCREENER Three screeners in one tab: • Stocks — momentum and technical screening with price, RSI, and trend data • Options — income-focused scans covering covered-call candidates, smart-screener setups, annualized yield, IV rank, and 30-day implied volatility • Watchlist — build your own list of stocks and specific option contracts. Stocks show live prices; option contracts show live marks, with a built-in calendar for picking expiry dates (or type them if you prefer). Your watchlist is stored privately on your own device and never leaves it. TICKER PAGES Tap any ticker anywhere in the app to get a single page that pulls every thread together: current price with a 12-month price chart, plus congressional trades, insider filings, and PAC donations tied to that same company. One screen to answer "what's actually going on with this name." GUIDE A built-in walkthrough of every screen, what each data source is, and how to read it — plus links to the full desktop version. IMPORTANT Capitol Gains is an informational tool built on public disclosure data. It is not investment advice, not a brokerage, and not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency, member of Congress, or the SEC. Disclosure filings are often reported weeks after the underlying trade, and dollar amounts are frequently disclosed only as broad ranges. Always do your own research.Read more
