Upa LuPet: axolotl pet

Upa LuPet is a virtual pet that lives in your phone and needs care every day. Lupe is an axolotl from Xochimilco living in a fish tank: feed her, play with her, clean her tank and put her to bed when she's tired. And when she sleeps, the best part begins: her dreams. Her four stats (hunger, mood, energy and cleanliness) drop in real time, even when the app is closed, so she needs a visit every day. Take good care of her and she levels up, changes mood, counts the days you've spent together and grows: from baby to child, teen and adult. Lupe's dreams: • Tonight's story: when she falls asleep, a bubble appears with the cover of tonight's story. Illustrated bedtime stories, narrated in Spanish, English and Japanese, about Mexican legends: what a chinampa is, Xolotl (the god who became an axolotl), the rabbit that stayed on the Moon and the gift of corn. A new story opens every week, and the Book of Dreams keeps the ones she has already dreamed. • Marathon dream: Lupe runs through 10 cities of the world (Mexico City, Denver, Chicago, Nairobi, Tokyo, Seoul, London, Paris, Frankfurt and Osaka). Each city has its own obstacles, weather, traffic and typical bread. Tap to jump, swipe down to duck and earn medals; your first medal in Mexico City opens all the other cities. A passport with stamps and Lupe's Bakery, where you collect the bread of every city (from the concha to the melonpan). • Green dream: plant marigolds, corn, squash and chili in Lupe's chinampa, water them and watch them grow. By day, in the tank: • A living tank: the water follows the real time of day (dawn, day, sunset and a moonlit night), with bubbles, light rays and swaying plants. • 16 friends: visitors from Xochimilco (charales, mexcalpiques, a crayfish, a frog, tilapia, carp, a trajinera…) and, once in a while, a sea creature on vacation, like the seahorse. Tap them to make friends and keep their photo in the album. Every photo tells you whether that animal is native, introduced, extinct or from the sea. • Play: ball, bubbles, tickles, Sing with me (a note memory game), a Memory game with lotería cards, and Party: all her friends come in with party hats, dance in a conga line, break the piñata and pose for a group photo. • Clean: the hermit crab arrives with his sack, or race him in the Cleanup race. • Feed: Lupe chases her food around the tank, and there's a mini-game to catch what falls. • Decorate her tank with ornaments unlocked by level. Special dates: Day of the Dead, Christmas and Mexican Independence Day. • Apple Watch: care for the same Lupe from your wrist. • Optional reminders (off by default). • Original art, sound effects and music. • Spanish, English and Japanese, selectable in Settings. • iPhone and iPad. No account, no ads, no purchases and no internet: Lupe lives only on your device. Made with care by Upa Lupe Games.
