A list of what you own, written down room by room, and kept here on your iPhone. This was built first for people who lost things in a fire, a flood or a theft and never made a list beforehand. Being asked to remember a whole household at once, for a form, is a hard thing. Nobody should have to do it from memory alone. It works just as well on an ordinary day, before anything happens. THE MEMORY WALK Thirteen rooms, each opening with a quiet line and a few questions. What lived on the counter. What was on the shelves. Tap one of the suggestions and a short form opens already filled in. Mark a question as looked at and carry on. Stop whenever you need to, and pick it up again later. PROOF ALREADY IN YOUR PICTURES Choose photos yourself, or look back through a range of dates. Apple's Vision framework reads each picture here on the device. It suggests which ones show belongings and which room they were taken in, and it picks out serial numbers, model numbers and receipts. Birthdays and holidays are often the richest places to look, because the room is sitting there in the background. You decide which picture proves which thing. WHAT AN ADJUSTER USUALLY ASKS FOR Every entry can carry its name, room, category, quantity, description, brand, model, serial number, where it came from, its age or the date it was bought, the price paid, what it would cost to replace, depreciation, and the cash value worked out from those. Pictures attach as proof, with their dates and captions. THE CONTENTS LIST The Claim tab holds the address, the insurer, the policy number, the claim number, and the cause and date of the loss, plus a total for every room. Your contents spreadsheet arrives in the CSV format any spreadsheet program opens, in the columns adjusters tend to ask about. That one costs nothing. The PDF claim packet arrives with Pro. Policies differ from one another. This app puts your record in order and works out the figures you enter. Insurance advice is beyond what it does, so read your policy or ask your adjuster which values they want. BACKUPS Everything, pictures included, goes into a single file that another phone can read back later. Free. That file is plain and carries no password, so keep it somewhere only you can reach. THE LIMIT, AND LIFTING IT Twenty five things, one home, the contents spreadsheet and backups: all of those come at no cost. Pro lifts the ceiling on things, allows more than one home, and hands over the PDF claim packet. Pro takes a single purchase and stays unlocked afterwards. Choose Restore Purchases on another device signed in the same way. NOTHING LEAVES THIS DEVICE No account is needed, and none can be made. Nothing advertises. Nothing measures. The app holds no code at all for reaching the internet, so the pictures are read here and they stay here. This list is yours alone, and none of it leaves the device.
