Tao of Christ

Tao of Christ is a calm daily companion that places one Gospel passage (King James Version) beside one chapter of the Tao Te Ching (James Legge, 1891), linked by a shared theme. This is not a noisy feed. It is a slow reading space for humility, stillness, compassion, surrender, and the quiet strength found in both traditions. WHAT YOU GET - 81 ready pairings: one theme, one Gospel text, one Tao chapter - Todays reading that rotates through the cycle - Full Archive to browse every day - Themes browser to explore recurring ideas - Favorites to keep the days that speak to you - A private Reflect journal stored only on your device - Why this pairing notes that explain the shared thread honestly - Light and dark modes, adjustable passage text size, optional daily reminder HOW TO USE IT Open Today. Read the Gospel card, then the Tao card. Tap either passage to expand the full text. When something stirs, tap Reflect and write a few honest lines. Your notes stay on your phone and appear later under Saved, Journal. Swipe between days. Browse the Archive. Filter by theme. Heart what you want to keep close. FOR WHOM English-speaking readers who want contemplative practice without clutter: Christians curious about the Tao, seekers of stillness, and anyone who values two sacred voices in conversation rather than competition.
