The Echo Sink

We've all been there: the perfect, cutting reply. The 2am text to an ex. The reply-all you'll regret by lunch. You know you shouldn't send it — but in the moment, you do anyway. The Echo Sink is a different kind of outbox. Write exactly what you're feeling, then sink it — instead of sending it, it drops into a cooling reservoir behind a timer you set. While it cools, the text stays hidden. When the timer runs out, it surfaces, ready to copy and send — if you still mean it. Most of the time, you won't. WHAT IT DOES • Write freely, without an audience • Choose a cooling period: 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, or 24 hours • Your draft locks and blurs the moment you sink it • A gentle notification lets you know when it's ready — no pressure, no rush • When it unlocks, copy it anywhere you like, or just leave it WHY IT'S DIFFERENT The Echo Sink isn't a notes app, and it isn't therapy. It's one small piece of friction, placed exactly where impulsive words usually slip through. That pause is often all it takes. YOUR WORDS NEVER LEAVE YOUR PHONE There's no account, no cloud, no analytics, no ads. Everything you write is stored only on your device. We don't see it. We can't see it. It's yours, the whole time. THE ECHO SINK IS FOR YOU IF • You've sent a text you wish you could take back • You want a beat before big feelings become permanent words • You like tools that ask for nothing and do one thing well Write it. Let it settle.
