Easel.art: AI Photo Art

Easel makes a picture out of a photo you already have. You choose the photo and the look. The wait is usually between ten and forty seconds. Back comes an oil portrait, or a wanted poster, or you as a boxed action figure. Every prompt ends with a clause about the face: keep this person recognisably themselves, whatever the medium does. THE LOOKS • Portrait — studio headshot, business portrait, black and white, classical • Places — Paris, Tokyo, Venice, New York, the Moon, underwater, safari • Art — oil, watercolour, charcoal, graphite, ink and wash, pastel • Cartoon — animated film, anime, classic comic, manga, pop art, clay animation • Toys — action figure, plushie, brick figure, crochet, papercraft • Eras — 1920s, 1950s, 1970s, 1980s, 90s yearbook, Victorian • Makeover — long hair, short hair, colour, beard, glasses • Fun — wanted poster, magazine cover, movie poster, trading card, banknote • Seasonal, Film looks and photo restoring Each look shows you a real example before you pick it, and they are all made from the same photograph, so you can see the difference between two looks without paying for both. IN YOUR OWN WORDS No look quite right? Say what to change — "warmer colours", "add falling snow", "a city skyline behind" — and Easel makes the picture again with that changed. Or describe a look from scratch and skip the catalogue. WHERE IT STRUGGLES Sunglasses, deep shadow, heavy blur, or a face that is tiny in a wide shot all give the model less to hold on to, and the likeness drifts. One or two people work better than a crowd. Looks that need a face are hidden when Easel cannot find one in your photo. EVERY PICTURE KEPT Finished pictures wait for you in the Gallery. Save them to Photos or share them from the app. Open one again later to make another take, or to change something about it. Deleting one there also deletes the photograph behind it and every other picture made with that photograph, on Easel's servers as well as in the app. HOW CREDITS WORK One credit makes one picture, whichever look you choose. Your first three are free. After that, credits are bought in the app, in packs of 15, 30 or 70. Credits never expire. A picture that fails is refunded automatically, every time, with no limit on how often. If one arrives and isn't right, tell us from the result screen; for the first five, we offer the credit back. Money back for a pack goes through Apple's Report a Problem, not through us. ABOUT YOUR PHOTOS To make each picture, the photo you choose, the look and any words you type are sent to our server and on to a third-party AI image service, which makes the picture and sends it back. Easel names the service and asks your permission before the first time any of that happens; the Privacy Policy names every company involved. We do not sell your photos and we do not use them to advertise to you. You choose every photo yourself; Easel never goes looking through your library.
