RangeControl turns your iPhone into the console for an Action Air StopPlate (sold separately). Connect to the plate over Bluetooth, and the plate's own sensor times the run. Your thumb on a stopwatch is out of the loop, and so is a guess from the phone's microphone. RUN THE TIMER Arm the plate, start the run and watch one large readout. The phone plays the start signal on a schedule the plate agrees with, so the time starts at the tone. Every hit comes in with its time and its split. HEAR EVERY SHOT Turn on mic detection and the phone also listens for shots that miss the plate. Before the run, fire a few shots to record a sound profile for your replica. After that, the mic counts only sounds shaped like your own shots and ignores the phone's beeps, the next bay and ringing steel. Mic shots show up in the hit list with their splits. Only a plate hit sets the run time. SCORE THE MATCH Build a course of fire from paper, poppers and plates. Keep a shooter roster with divisions and power factors. Score Comstock with alphas, charlies, deltas, misses, no-shoots and procedurals, and record a DQ with its rule. Stage and overall standings update as you go, with hit factors and percentages. KNOW IT WILL START WORKS WHERE THE RANGE IS No account, no cloud and no signal needed. Matches stay on the device, with validated writes, rolling backups and a clear way to recover a damaged file. Export results as CSV or a printable PDF, or back up your whole match history to a file. ADD A HUB FOR MORE With an Action Air hub on the local network, RangeControl runs several plates at once. It also scores duel stages with two lanes, showing the winner and the margin. The timer and scoring screens look the same over Bluetooth or a hub. Available in English and Russian. RangeControl requires Action Air StopPlate hardware. The microphone adds to the plate but can't replace it.
