About

Some things feel good and some things don't, and most days you already know which is which — you just never write it down anywhere that adds it up. What Feels Good is a private journal built around that one question, for the things you chose and the things that happened to you. AN ENTRY, NOT AN ENTRY FORM Every entry is a title, an optional note, and three honest answers: how it felt, how much it mattered, and — if you chose it — whether it was good for you, or — if it happened to you — how much say you had. No numbers, no star ratings, no scores. Every answer is a word: awful to great, barely to hugely, unhealthy to healthy. Tap a word, or drag between them. ONE VERB, NOT A GRADE Two quadrant maps turn all of that into a single verb: Keep, Ease off, Stick with, Stop for the things you chose; Make room for, Appreciate, Change, Accept for the things that happened to you. The map isn't a score to chase — it's a place to notice that the thing you keep grumbling about and the thing you keep choosing anyway are sitting in different quadrants for a reason. LOG IT AGAIN Most of what shapes a life repeats. Log an entry again instead of writing it twice, and its weight in the map grows with how often it shows up — a single bad meeting matters less than the one that happens every Monday. FILTER, SORT, FIND Narrow either list by color or by time, sort by what's newest or what's weighing most, and a quiet caption always says when a filter is doing something so it's never invisible. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Everything stays on your device. If you're signed into iCloud, entries sync to your own private database — off Apple's servers is never where they go, and never where we can see them. There is no account, no analytics, and no server. Lock the app behind Face ID if you want, and export everything as JSON whenever you like. WHAT THIS IS NOT What Feels Good is not therapy, medical care, diagnosis, or crisis support, and it never claims to be. It's a place to notice a pattern in your own words. If you're struggling, please talk to someone who can actually help.Read more
