ABOUT THE DATA Tide predictions and observations come from NOAA CO-OPS, buoy readings from NOAA NDBC, and wind and wave forecasts from the NOAA National Weather Service. Tide Times covers places where NOAA has a station; where it does not, the app tells you data is unavailable instead of guessing. At stations where NOAA publishes only highs and lows, the curve between them is interpolated and labeled as estimated. Actual water levels can differ from predictions because of wind, pressure and river flow. Not for navigation.
